Legendary Horror Film Studio back!

Legendary horror studio back after 30 years -

London, Jan 16 : Hammer Films Studio, which produced the horror classics "Dracula", "The Curse of Frankenstein" and "The Devil Rides Out", has lured investors back after nearly 30 years in oblivion.

Hammer Films is joining Britain's Random Harvest and Hollywood special effects company Stan Winston Productions to set up Harvest Pictures III, reported the Guardian.

In its new avatar, Hammer will follow the low budget production models of recent horror hits "28 Days Later", "Shaun Of The Dead", "Cabin Fever" and "Saw" to produce high quality horror films.

Hammer projects in the pipeline include "Perfect Sight" and "The Beetle". Filming is expected to begin in early summer, nearly three decades after Hammer produced its final title, "The Lady Vanishes", in 1978.
